I loved working outdoors, and having a chance to learn about the operations of a pantry from the employees and volunteers. I liked that I had the chance to get to know some of the clients and farms that we did pickup from as well.
What I wish was different
Since this was summer 2020 and COVID19 changed so many things, I would've liked to have done more events but the circumstances made it so that was impossible.
Advice
Always bring water and be ready to get your hands dirty! It is a wonderful learning experience so come with an open mind.
