Lead Talent Agent

September 2018 - August 2019 • Londonderry, NH

What I liked

Working for a startup, I received hands-on professional experience, learning the key functionalities of a business. I always received recognition for my achievements, which motivated me to work hard. The positive culture at recruiterboom allowed me to thoroughly enjoy my time here, making new good friends every semester that I worked here. From the minute I was hired, I was no longer an intern, but a valued employee, running a full desk. I've discovered a passion for recruiting that I never knew I had. As a college student, helping real people get jobs, the work itself is very rewarding!

What I liked

I loved that I was doing everything that the Founders were doing, it did not feel like an internship and I gained so many valuable professional skills! Not to mention, it helped me realize that I wanted to pursue a career in recruiting and gave me the ability to start building my experience in the field.

Advice

This internship is for serious go-getters. I recommend it for anyone who's a self-starter, and works well in a flexible setting. It's all about the work you put in, and you control your own success here so it's extremely important to be someone who can self-motivate! I love this company and experience!

What I liked

I love the Freedom you are giving as an Intern. They let you decide what kind of day you are going to have. They are always happy to put down what they are doing to help you out with a task.

Talent Agent

May - August 2019 • Londonderry, NH

What I liked

Throughout the summer internship I learned to be more conformable talking on the phone, interviewing candidates, organizing spread sheets and of course learning about what “We Culture” is all about. If any of us had new ideas or projects we wanted to take control of we had full authority to do so. Amanda, Will and Chris are amazing. They always make sure that you push yourself and are always giving us advice. Every week we would read a chapter in the book "We Culture" and talk about how we can incorporate that into the culture at Recruiterboom. At the end of the summer we all went to the red sox game which was such a fun experience. Highly recommend interning at Recruiterboom, you wont regret it!
