You get to drive a lot of really interesting cars, and the group of people working there is top notch.

What I wish was different

I wish my shift had been different, I worked from 4pm-12am which is just too late for me.

Advice

Any job can be fun if you make it fun, even though a valet job might not be a glamorous experience any job can be what you make it .

What I liked

The job was a good learning experience. My communication, multi-tasking, and driving skills were consistently challenged and improved.

What I wish was different

I feel like the job satisfied my desires entailed from the job description and offered more. If there was something I'd like to change, it could be the amount of locations available for valet. During my time I worked at two places, Del Amo Mall and Manhattan Beach Mall.

Advice

Stay hydrated while on the job and don't be afraid to modify the rules/regulations of the valet service to ease the lot of customers. In my experience, people recognize and appreciate when you do something to make their life easier. This recognition and appreciation can serve to be a reward enough, but in addition, it sometimes translates to larger tips.
