Regions Bank

Corporate Banking Analyst

June - August 2020 • Houston, TX

What I liked

-Well structured program with overall instruction and group specific instruction -Great people and culture as a whole. Not the typical big bank feel which allowed for more communication with senior level associates. -A wealth of knowledge from bankers that had been in the industry for 20+ years at your disposal -Challenging but rewarding

What I wish was different

Nothing, the experience was great and I am excited to return full-time

Advice

Reach out and get to know associates in other groups and ask them what they do. While I was in the Diversified Industries group, there is a lot of experience and knowledge that can be gained from speaking with associates in other group like Capital Markets, Energy, Technology, etc.

Corporate Banking Intern

June - August 2020 • Atlanta, GA

What I liked

There's a lot of work with Managing Directors and other upper level management. The workplace culture is great (even virtually), and I felt comfortable to ask questions. The workload is heavy, but I wasn't given more than I could handle.

Advice

Be prepared to learn a lot during the summer, and don't be afraid to ask questions about what you don't understand.
