I had my first experience in an office setting. I used an ERP for the first time. I learned how to keep track of invoices on a company credit card. I got really good at my ABCs because I did a lot of filing for the Accounting and HR department.
What I wish was different
I wish that it had been closer to what I was learning in school. Now I'm thinking what I'm learning in school either isn't very applicable to the real world or my internship didn't help me grow in the way school wanted me to.
Advice
Talk to your fellow employees, they are what make the job enjoyable or at least better than mediocre.
