It really takes you away from your life and puts you in a place where you can sit down and focus on the moment. I made a lot of friends that I still talk to and visit. Since you're with your team almost constantly, you create an awesome dynamic that just gets better as the summer goes on.
What I wish was different
This summer was weird as we had to cut down on staff, so those that were there ended up with a lot of extra work.
Advice
You're going to work much more than you're expecting: buckle up and enjoy the ride. You'll be tired, but if you're like me, you'll miss it as soon as it's over.

What I liked
The connections and friends I made.
Learning to work with others.
New experiences!
What I wish was different
The time management of the jobs assigned. For an example there were days where we would have several breaks in-between tasks and by the end of the day we only worked four hours. All of the tasks could have been done together and in the morning and have the rest of the afternoon off for personal activities. So be considerate of time consuming days.

Patients is key.
