If you ever get the opportunity to do any type of research, take it. Research is an important part of any field. You don’t know if you like it until you try.

I loved helping the residents of Honduras by not only interpreting, but also helping out with some medical aspects. I went with NAU's Global Medical Brigade to help provide medical assistants to residents in Honduras.
What I wish was different
I wish the trip could have been longer!

I strongly support anyone wanting or thinking about going to go volunteer in a different country. It's really eye opening and you really do make a difference.

I would suggest that people go into a nannying job realizing that they will not interact very much with other adults or people their own age throughout the day so they need to plan to be around people their own age after work.
