I enjoyed increasing my nursing skills and practicing how to manage time as a nurse. I was able to care for a full team of patients which was great preparation for my future career.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have felt more comfortable asking questions to my preceptor from the beginning and had more opportunities for NG, Foley, and IV insertion.

Very helpful for nursing students! I enjoyed spending time in a hospital and learning alongside a team of great nurses!

You have to have a passion for people and helping those who are completely incapable of taking care of themselves... Otherwise you will get burnt out quickly. It takes heart to work this kind of job! I love it.
