Saha Global

Water Field Representative

October 2017 - June 2018 • Tamale, Northern Region

What I liked

I loved the work that I did this summer! I worked for Saha Global who partners with villages in Northern Region, Ghana to create water purification businesses that local women can run. It’s sustainable and economically beneficial while also empowering women and their community. I would 10/10 recommend working for this organization.

What I wish was different

I don't wish anything different. This experience was close to perfect. Although there were many challenges that my group faced, we worked through them together and grew closer as a team while gaining valuable field experience.

Advice

Be prepared to adapt. When working in the field, there are many moving parts that create challenges and obstacles that fight against you accomplishing your goal. Remember that set backs are okay and brainstorm creative solutions to work around your problems.
