I enjoyed the working relationship with the other student researchers I was working with. I especially appreciated the mentoring I received from my professor, Dr.Axen. The feeling of being in the lab, performing myriad procedures to further a research goal, was like nothing I have ever done before.

Often, we underestimate our own capabilities, which stops us from trying new things and seeking new opportunities for growth, employment, or responsibility. This experience helped me learn how to trust my own abilities and have confidence.
One piece of advice I would share is that it's important to have confidence when trying new experiences.
