What I liked
I loved the people I worked with--both employees and the volunteers that came in. Also, It was fulfilling to come home from work every day knowing you made a true difference in hungry kids' lives.
What I wish was different
I feel like the job description didn't exactly reflect the daily duties. While certain aspects certainly were part of the job, large portions of the job duties were left out.
Advice
Do it! I absolutely loved working for the Summer Feeding Program at SAFB, and the supervisors are amazing. Just make sure you ask specifics regarding daily duties during the interview so you know what to expect.
