I really enjoyed working with children in the outdoors, and being so close to Yosemite national park. Also free housing and meals was such a great way to save money.
What I wish was different
Management plays favorites- hardcore. its not subtle, and if you get one someones bad side, you live with them.
Advice
You have to have your lifeguard certification, and 400 hours of work experience. Be ready to not just lifeguard, but work in every aspect of the summer camp.
