What I liked

The work environment. Many of my peers at Teleperformance were a joy to work with, and I have no doubt that both my coworkers and supervisors were what kept me working at Teleperformance for as long as I did. I also appreciated the steps they were willing to take to accommodate my class schedule.

What I wish was different

The clients. The unfortunate fact of working customer service (especially over the phone) is that people are usually calling you on their worst day, and it isn't uncommon to have speak with people who are already upset and looking for a reason to raise a fuss.

Customer Service Representative

May - August 2019 • Port St. Lucie, FL

What I liked

The employees and management were nice and understanding

What I wish was different

More instructions on what to do when trying to compensate a consumer if something went wrong. The customer support has a lot of us to help and sometimes it can be a long call. Maybe more of them. A system that will not update when you are taking a customer (or a place to send the customer should it happen. To tell someone to call back and wait at the end of the line again wasn’t always the an easy task)

Advice

Ask about what you can do to accommodate people should they have problems.
