I worked one on one with the kids. I had a different child each day of the week. The variation was nice as were the activities we engaged in.

Nothing I can think of.

Patience. Children each have their own way of communicating their needs and feelings. Listen and wait. They’ll show you if you remain willing.

I loved working with children with disabilities and seek them grow and learn over the summer.

I wish I had more say in the types of activities we did as a group

Always focus on the child you are working with and how their needs differ from others. Be able to adapt!
