Camp Counselor

What I liked
I loved working with the kids and being able to be a support system for some of them. I was able to give the kids a platform to speak, ask questions, and give them a space to grow.
What I wish was different
I wish we could have had more counselors. We were taking a large group of kids away from the camp with only three counselors. I also wish that the younger groups got the same treatment as the other kids.
Advice
This experience helped me prepare for my courses. I was able to get first-hand experience.

I wish i would have started working there a summer earlier.

I recommend working here to everyone. It's a great learning experience. You learn great social skills and to be grateful for everything you have in life.
