ABOUT THE REV THEATRE COMPANY (formerly Finger Lakes MTF / MGR Playhouse)
Headquartered in Auburn, NY, The REV Theatre Company celebrates 65 years as an award-winning arts organization committed to creating theatrical experiences at the highest levels of artistic integrity. The REV leverages the power of the arts as a tool for entertainment, education, social awareness and cultural development in our community and in the Finger Lakes region.
Four hours from NYC, central to Syracuse, Rochester and Ithaca, The REV is one of the largest producing musical theatre organizations in New York State, outside of NYC.
The REV operates three stages in Auburn, NY:
• The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, our flagship stage, presents large-scale Broadway spectacles with talent from Broadway, Hollywood and around the country in Emerson Park on Owasco Lake
• The Carriage House Theater, home to our new works program, The PiTCH.
• The West End Theater, dedicated to family theatre and home to our expansive REV Education division.
The REV Education division (“REV Ed”) is committed to creating access for all children to exceptional live theatrical experiences. The Education Division is composed of The REV on Tour, one of the nation’s leaders in comprehensive in-school arts integration, as well as a wide array of dynamic programs and after-school and summer classes for students of all ages. Education and outreach are the cornerstone of our organization, and we are committed to the cultivation of the next generation of theatre artists and appreciators.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
The REV is governed by a comprehensive health and safety plan, Workplace Guidelines for Covid-19, vetted by NY Department of Labor, Cayuga County Department of Health, AEA, SDC, AFM, and USA. In addition, The REV has implemented extensive ventilation upgrades and investments in its flagship venue, The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, including but not limited to: opening the sides of the building for fresh air ventilation, installation of AtmosAir duct purification systems into the HVAC equipment, installation of four UVC filtration fans above the audience. Additionally, we employ widespread sanitization and electrostatic cleaning in all venues, housing and studios. The REV continues to promote a fully vaccinated workplace. All employees will be required to be vaccinated and cleared of the two-week waiting period prior to first day of employment and will be required to provide proof of vaccination as part of the onboarding process. Booster shots strongly encouraged.
