The availability requirements were ideal for my busy final semesters of college and TLT allowed me to work on projects that I needed for my own personal and professional development.
What I wish was different
With many interns participating in creating new procedures, documents, graphics, and resources for TLT, without a background in graphic design, it was difficult for everyone to understand and apply the visual guidelines set in the identity manual.
Advice
This internship offered the opportunities I needed in helping me accomplish my objectives, and I had many opportunities to collaborate with other interns during my internship with TLT in various projects. Seeing the pure love and intention the intern director has to change the lives of many underprivileged youth and young adults in the community is inspirational. Because of this and the experience I have had, I would absolutely recommend an internship with this organization.
