What I liked
I loved working with kids and being an excellent mentor to them. I also loved working with my co counselors and they were a huge help.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to work more hours, but overall I felt I worked a decent amount of hours.
Advice
I’d say that a job like this one involves a level of leadership. Even if you’re inexperienced with leadership skills, this type of job is a great learning experience for future jobs.

What I liked
I love that I not only get to work with kid, but also helping counselors be the most open versions of themselves. It gives me the opportunity to sharpen my people, organizational and leadership skills everyday.
What I wish was different
I wish we had an endless budget to work with! We find so many fun activities that it makes it difficult to narrow them down.
Advice
Don't take anything the kids are parents say too personally. It helps to just breathe.
