I liked working front desk and socializing and interacting with people. I also had a very good relationship with my boss who mentored me so I learned a lot.
What I wish was different
I wish that I had not come in at a time of transition. There was no AGM when I arrived so for about 3-4 weeks it was very, hectic since we were missing a manager. Transition phases are hard as it is, so coming in as a new hire during a transition was making it harder on me and the team to help me learn
Advice
I would advise to only work at a property once while you are in college. Working at the same property twice, both times over the summer, made me feel like I did not learn very much and that I was limiting myself.
