What I liked the most doing this internship was being able to see what real world accounting was like versus the class room accounting. Both were very different from each other.
What I wish was different
I wish I would’ve did more hands on auditing for that’s what I look forward to in my future careers.
Advice
Never pass up any opportunities on going outside your comfort zone. As an accounting major, I plan on getting a different internship that shows different sides of accounting, even if a certain part of your major isn’t your strong suit. Always expand your learning!
