I liked that I learned how to do tax workpapers, manual tax returns and also entered tax returns into software. there was alot of hands-on experience
What I wish was different
I wish I had a formal trainer/mentor to guide me. If I had questions, I had to ask my manager, and many times she was in meetings, busy with other things, etc
Advice
COMMUNICATE!! both with your manager and your co-workers. Many times I would be sitting at my cube, and others would kind of forget about me being there
