I loved the fast paced environment during my internship at Trident. The Crisis management and communications field is extremely interesting for anyone that’s a quick thinker, has the ability to adapt to changes and is willing to take risks. I also thoroughly enjoyed the nature of clients and industries that were at Trident - from Fortune 500 companies and CEOS all the way to start ups and government agencies.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more interns to work with. I was only one of two, and given the work load it was at times challenging to manage deadlines. However, this also meant that we were often given projects and assignments that would usually be completed by full time employees.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to raise your hand to take on a new project - even if it’s on client who you are not familiar. Chances are that you will learn a lot about the industry the client is in and be able to creatively achieve their desired goals!
