I enjoyed being able to be in 24/7 ministry with youth that were excited to learn. I was pushed out of my comfort zone over and over again. I have so much confidence in who I am as a child of God and the leader that He has made me to be.
What I wish was different
I wish Trout would take more care of ALL the different jobs going on this summer. I felt like Trout did not know me by the end of the summer while they would know others well. This made me feeling left out at times.
Advice
I would be prepared to work long hours. Be ready to pour out to the youth spiritually because they are the main reason we are there. You will be drained physically, spiritually and mentally but grow so much you’ll be amazed by His power.
