I loved how it combined both aspects of field work and lab work together, it was really useful in helping me explore my interests more.

Great people and engaging / cooperative lab space. Very willing to help me learn as part of my lab assistant position.

Better instruction and tools to accomplish goals
Advice
Take small, upper level classes, even as an underclassman if possible, professors notice and you get to develop a relationship and thus opportunities with them.
