I was able to draft opinions of the court that were edited by staff and signed by the judge during my internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I had reached out to more people for one-on-one meetings. Sadly due to COVID-19, that was not possible.
Advice
To go for it if it's your goal! The type of internship I had was traditionally only open to second year law students, but the judge took a chance on me because of my previous work and internship experiences.
