University Impact (UI) is a social impact investment firm located in Provo, UT that hires undergraduate and graduate associates to conduct financial and social impact analysis on potential investments in early-stage businesses from around the globe. University Impact's student associates have come from over 20 majors and over 6 universities, including: BYU, Harvard University, University of Oxford, University of Michigan, University of Cape Town, and Wharton. In addition to receiving acceptance to graduate programs, UI Alumni have been placed at firms and organizations such as Lazard, PWC, Bain & Company, KPMG, and Teach for America.
Through partnerships with accelerators, foundations, governments, and venture funds, UI is building a united community that is working towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG’s).
University Impact's mission is three-fold:
1) To be an impact investment vehicle focused on solving the world’s most pressing social and environmental problems.
2) To be the standard on how to do impact investing and philanthropy better.
3) To be a tool to give students hands-on learning experiences and exposure to the impact and philanthropy space.
