About University of Michigan Future Public Health Leaders Program

The University of Michigan Future Public Health Leaders Program (Michigan FPHLP) is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of the Director, Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE). It is part of the CDC John R. Lewis Undergraduate Public Health Scholars program along with programs at Columbia University, Morehouse College, Kennedy Krieger Institute, and University of California, Los Angeles. All programs share FPHLP’s commitment to educating and training leaders who will become a part of a diverse public health workforce. Students may apply to multiple CUPS sites, however if students are interested in applying to FPHLP, they must complete the FPHLP online application.

Application Open: November 1 - January 31 at 11:59pm EST
