I got to work hands on with patients preforming tests such as EKGs and blood work. Learned the skill of phlebotomy. Got to shadow in the OR every week. Learned more about the system of the hospital.
What I wish was different
More inpatient work.
Advice
When looking for a job, apply to every place you can even if you don’t think you qualify because you never know who will hire you.
