“The internship was a lot of observing the job of a Guardian ad Litem. It was hands-on in the sense that I got to be a part of the cases, which including going on home visits, researching precedent, and attending court hearings. Everyone that I worked with included me when they had something coming up that they thought would be a good experience for me. When I completed my internship I felt as if I had a pretty good understanding of what it is like being a Guardian ad Litem. ”
