I loved working with engineers and being trusted to finish my own independent projects and lead the team in finishing deadlines. I felt like I gained a lot of knowledge and was treated as an equal, and it made me want to go back!
What I wish was different
I wish I took time to meet more people just because I felt like I was focused on my work and my team a lot, and while I enjoyed it greatly, it would've been nice to get different perspectives from other engineers/teams.
Advice
Always be proactive, never be afraid to ask questions.
