What I liked

Good 401K match, good salary for the work

What I wish was different

No opportunity for growth, no support of continued education, no training about finance whatsoever. Remedial data entry 8 hours a day. Materialistic culture, lots of pressure to live beyond your means. Firm believers in medicating people who don't fit, untruthful about opportunities to return, refuse to provide references for the experience.

Advice

I couldn't figure out the calculations of the fx contracts I was typing, gaslighting, they told me I couldn't understand to just type them. Turns out they were not legal. madoff accounts. No twenty something should have to withstand this type of mental anguish from their job.

What I wish was different

Though the company is small, the majority of the firm is too high level to and ask for advice, they will deflect you to the inexperienced for any questions. You won't gain any knowledge outside of the assigned remedial administrative tasks no matter how long your tenure.

Advice

This place revolves around prescriptions and gambling. Adapting to this culture can ruin a lifetime of hard work, and they take no responsibility for the consequences of following their advice and trying to fit here, they will completely turn their back on you even though your future depends on their word.. The CEO sugguests that you go for broke on a new car, you are expected to spend your entire salary on materialistic things and pampering appointments. I have no place to live when I'm old and half as much retirement money as I should becuase I worked here. I was a workaholic, and their preferred medicine crippled me so that I could not provide for myself or find a spouse. I never thought such terrible things could happen from taking a job. Lead us not into temptation.
