Student Lab Assistant

What I liked
The pay is great for a student part-time job. My supervisor, Dr. Jian-Ping Jin, is very nice and he allows me to work on a flexible schedule. I have learned a lot of knowledge and interpersonal skills from him.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have more roles in the lab such as maintaining the instruments and training the new student lab assistants.
Advice
I would advice every student lab assistant to maintain frequent communication with their supervisors.
