Lynn Kelly told me she would talk to me soon, I waited a month. Then I reach out, she didn’t even bother to reply to me. She just (finally) marked my application as declined. Very unprofessional! I don’t mind not getting the job, I can get a job. It’s the fact she didn’t even bother to even keep her word or even to let me know.
Advice
Follow-up email? Even a prompt decline of the application if not a fit, would suffice. More professionalism is a must!

What I liked
My host teachers and class were all amazing
What I wish was different
The EdTPA was thrown on us a month before the start of student teaching. I did not feel prepared for it. It's awful to add that to someone last minute, during a global pandemic, whose teaching remotely. And they did not have the handbook ready on time for us. And we had to have each task evaluated up to 4 times, which took about 6 days of waiting for each review then the commentary was completely different each time on what to change. It was a continuous mental beat down. From Sept to Dec.
Advice
Learn about the EdTPA on your own before you start student teaching. We didn't have that opportunity.
