Everyone from the top to the bottom was super helpful and willing to help me learn all aspects of the plant even those that weren’t relevant to my position. My supervisors were willing to let me work independently and not be confined to an office all day. I was trusted with many projects that prepared me for a possible career at the Calvert City plant.
What I wish was different
Nothing
Advice
Work hard and listen because you will learn so much!

What I liked
Great management, awesome coworkers, ability for spending money when needed
What I wish was different
Hourly staff was hard to manage, I wish I had been more prepared for that.
Advice
Always follow codes! Even when the electrician doesn't want to and never approve anything to be installed unless you 200% sure its correct.

What I liked
I learned new skills in Excel and was the main person on a big project to reorganize and reconstruct planograms for Home Depot in order to minimize expenses .
What I wish was different
I would have liked to have been able to work on several different projects, but because the planogram project was so large and needed to be completed as fast as possible, that was my main priority.
Advice
I would say that it is important to understand the products that are being made and sold in order to understand how projects are carried out.
