Weston Playhouse Theatre is dedicated to producing entertaining, inspiring, and innovative performance that connects to our community and enhances life throughout the broad region we serve. We produce classic and contemporary theatre that relates to our audience today; we cultivate new work and support artists at all stages of the development process; and we train the next generation of theatre artists and theatre audiences. Founded in 1937, Weston is Vermont's oldest professional theatre company. Seasons consist of 5-7 productions on 2 stages, including a family show, late-night Cabarets, and special events. Weston is also dedicated to providing educational activities for audiences from preschool through adulthood, including teacher workshops, performance and study guides, school matinees, a Young Playwrights Program, summer camps, director's talks, talkbacks, and lectures.
