I absolutely loved the people that I got to work with. I was absolutely spoiled up here, The housing that all of the on site employees stayed in was a nice dorm style unit. There were so many attractions nearby (Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim, countless hiking trails, the sand dunes) that there was unlimited things to do in off time and many employees to go and do things with. Every day had a fun adventure.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more of a training period on the job. All of us were thrown into it with little training so we figured out the system as we went.
Advice
Be willing to go out there and try new things. Go have an adventure.

What I liked
I absolutely loved working for the ponderosa. It was a great experience to live and work just 5 miles from Zion national park. I loved that they provided me with free housing, and discounted food. I lived with 100 other employees, so there was always something to do, and somewhere to explore. I worked as a canyoneering and Jeep tour guide, so I was always exploring and guiding guests from all over the world. It was literally one of the best experiences of my life.
