I love the people I work with! Everyone is warm, knowledgeable, and helpful.
What I wish was different
I wish that I would have been able to do this internship during a different semester. My class load, work load, and my internship got a bit overwhelming.

Education Intern
June 2018 • Milwaukee, WI
What I liked
I loved the mission beyond the non profit, as it most aligned with my personal values and aspirations. I also loved the supportive climate and the several opportunities for mentoring services and staff development.
What I wish was different
I had an incredible experience, I’m not sure I could note anything I would considerably change.
Advice
This experience was more than just assisting in the Zoo camps each day, it was an opportunity for self-reflection and discovery. I would recommend this internship to anyone who has a passion for non traditional education surrounding animals, conservation, and education. Especially an individual who is ready to take risks and challenge themselves in a supportive environment.
