It was a great opportunity to start out in my career field and obtain valuable job experience. It was a great chance to apply what I have learned with the instructors at Baker College in a real world setting. I was given many challenging tasks and was able to grow my skills as a Technician. I learned about many different types of equipment and machines while with Capital Equipment. My experience with this employer gave me the necessary experience to advance further in my career field, obtain ASE Certifications, and complete my Internship.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have started working here sooner so that I would have been able to gain more experience and earn more money while I was in college.
Advice
ASE Certifications can help you get a higher paying job but require a minimum amount of work experience. I would recommend starting out as early as possible in your career field in order to gain as much experience as possible.
