Working for Tara as a medical assistant and project manager has been the most incredible work experience I have ever had. Our office environment is small and close-knit, like a family, and everyone is so supportive of each other and inspiring. I was hesitant about going to medical school after college and I was concerned that I didn't really want to commit to it 100% for various reasons but most of all I thought it was not something I was still excited to do. This job has really revived my interest in medicine and given me a taste of what it looks like to combine my passion for helping others with my interest in cosmetic medicine. I'm now planning on enrolling in nursing school!
What I wish was different
I wish I could already be a nurse! Our patients are so incredible and I love seeing them excited and refreshed when they leave. I would love to have more of a hand in giving them the newfound confidence that Tara and Crystal do on a daily basis.
Advice
If you have a passion for medical aesthetics or just want to dip a toe in the industry, reach out! Getting in the door sometimes can be the hardest part but showing that motivation and drive is a huge asset in any job you apply for. Working here, you play such a central part in the office community. You are largely autonomous in your responsibilities and can really take on as much of an active role as you want and I LOVE that about working here.
