Our purpose is to delight audiences with great enduring music performed by excellent musicians in beautiful settings. We exist to serve the music and enrich the lives of all who listen.
Gretna Music has been a leading presenter of classical music and jazz in southeastern Pennsylvania for over 40 years. Our programs span the entire breadth of the classical tradition, from medieval chant to avant-garde works of living composers. Jazz performances range from ragtime and Dixieland to big band to bebop and avant-jazz. Performances regularly feature established world-class ensembles and soloists, as well as inspiring emerging artists, and are held primarily at the Mt. Gretna Playhouse and Elizabethtown College’s Leffler Chapel and Performance Center.
