My bosses were wonderful and I learned so much about different aspects of how a non-profit operates. I also learned about patron services, volunteer coordination and house managing.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more time to learn more about the executive directing portion of the operation due to that being a career that I pursue.
Advice
Ask questions when you don’t know what to do. There is never a dumb question and there is nothing that you are not capable of as long as you ask for help when you need it.
