I could connect with all levels of management because of small deal teams at Deloitte. This helped me network better and learn from the experience of my reporting manager and partners.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was a little longer. Upon following up after the internship, I understood that the deal I was working on went through. I would've loved to see that happen while I was there.
Advice
Takes initiatives and ask for work. Understand you're an intern, there might be a communication gap between you and your manager. They may underestimate or overestimate your skills, but you should be able to show them where you stand. That's when you'll learn the most.

Advice
If you want to do an internship in an auditing firm, don't do it in summer because these type of business mostly works in the others months of the year.

It was an awesome program as a whole. There was not much work that we did as participants. The program is meant to see if you fit in the culture of Deloitte and building your personal network with many different professionals. I loved to activities that we did together and getting to meet the people that we would be starting with in the next year at Deloitte.

The only thing I would have liked more would be having more job experience.

Enjoy it and network and build relationships with as many people as you can.

It was a wonderful opportunity to work in such a big and reputed company. The thing I liked the most was that even though I was an intern, I was treated equally as other employees. This is true for both allotment of work and use of the company's facilities.

One should always be willing to take the initiative. While other interns chose to laze around and waste their time, I chose to learn as much as I could.
